Soon after September 11th, I began to see pigeons as potent symbols
of our vulnerability. As a nation, we now consciously share their kind of
fear, joining both our allies and our enemies as prey for violent aggressors.
Since the attack I have grown increasingly concerned about the effects
of America's militaristic foreign policy, and our predatory position in the
world. It is imperative that we and all nations search for peaceful, more
reasonable solutions to humankind's innate desire for violence and war.
My hope is for alternatives to the cyclical paradigm of Predator and Prey
